Breaking Down the Clearing Statement: A Reader-Friendly Guide

If you’ve ever looked at the Access Consciousness Clearing Statement — “Right & wrong, good & bad, POD & POC, all 100, shorts, boys, POVADs, creations, bases and beyonds” — you might have felt a little overwhelmed. It sounds abstract, almost like a secret code. But it doesn’t have to be.
Let’s take it piece by piece and see what each part is really pointing to — in plain, everyday terms. Think of this as a friendly map for understanding the energetic and emotional patterns we all carry around. Also, don't stress, it isn't meant to speak to your logical brain.
Right & Wrong / Good & Bad
This one is probably the easiest to relate to. These words point directly to our judgments about value — the way we decide what is “acceptable” or “not,” “deserving” or “undeserving.”
Every time we label something right or wrong, good or bad, we are creating a little energetic loop that holds onto the story we’ve chosen. The Clearing Statement simply invites you to notice those judgments and release them. It’s not about denying reality; it’s about loosening the grip of the story so you can see what’s really happening.
POC (Point of Creation)
POC is all about origins. Where did a feeling, a decision, or a pattern first form? Sometimes we carry reactions that were seeded years ago, long before we even knew what was happening. Identifying the POC is like noticing the root of a tree — it helps us understand why the branches look the way they do.
POD (Point of Destruction)
Once we know where something started (POC), the next question is where it’s being reinforced or “destroyed” now — that’s the POD. This is where patterns show up in daily life, where the old story keeps getting replayed, often unconsciously.
All 100
“All 100” is a nod to all the ways we create our experience. Every thought, every assumption, every belief — these are the 100+ ways our lives are being constructed moment by moment. Recognizing this opens up the possibility to shift the patterns we don’t want and lean into the ones we do.
Shorts
“Shorts” is a compact, almost poetic way to point at meaning and meaninglessness, reward and punishment. It’s like a snapshot of how we tend to simplify or compress our experiences into quick judgments — and how that simplification shapes our reality.
Boys (Nucleated Spheres)
Here’s where it gets a little more abstract. “Boys” are pre-verbal energetic patterns that don’t easily change. Think of them as habits, reactions, or emotional grooves that have been forming since before words or conscious understanding came into play. They’re sticky, but not impossible to shift.
POVADs
POVADs are our points of view we’re defending or avoiding. Every time we argue, justify, or run away from something, there’s a POVAD in action. The Clearing Statement encourages us to notice these defended viewpoints and release them, freeing up space to see things freshly.
Creations
This one is straightforward. “Creations” refers to the realms we actually create — the choices, actions, and outcomes that have manifested in our life. It’s a reminder that we are constantly co-creating our reality, whether we notice it or not.
Bases
“Bases” are the foundations we use to judge life — our internal measuring sticks for win/lose, right/wrong, success/failure. By noticing the bases we operate from, we can see how they shape the stories we tell ourselves and whether those stories are serving us.
Beyonds
Finally, “beyonds” point to the deep, frozen feelings that stop possibilities. These are the old wounds, traumas, or stuck energy that live just beyond conscious awareness. By bringing them into awareness, even just a little, we open the door to movement, possibility, and choice.
Putting It All Together
Breaking down the Clearing Statement like this makes it much less mysterious. Each phrase is simply a pointer — a gentle nudge to notice patterns, judgments, origins, and energy that are shaping your life and then clearing it all so that you can choose different in the future.
The magic isn’t in saying the words perfectly. Frankly you can say POD & POC and that would be 'good enough'. Give it a go!
