If you’ve been curious about trying an Access Bars session, you might be wondering:
👉 What actually happens?
👉 Will I feel anything?
👉 Do I have to “do” anything?
Let’s walk through it—step by step—so you know exactly what to expect.
🌿 Step 1: You Arrive & Get Settled
When you arrive for your session, there’s nothing you need to prepare.
No special mindset.
No meditation experience.
No “getting it right.”
You’ll lie fully clothed on a massage table or in a zero gravity chair in a quiet space. The practitioner may ask a few gentle questions about what you’d like to change—stress, overthinking, sleep, anxiety, or just feeling stuck.
You don't have to say anything. The energy that needs to change comes up just by you walking through the door.
🧠 Step 2: Light Touch on 32 Points on the Head
During the session, the practitioner lightly touches specific points on your head. These are called the “Bars.”
Each point is said to correspond to different areas of life, such as:
money
control
creativity
body
healing
awareness
joy
There’s no pressure or manipulation—just a gentle, nurturing touch. Some people say it feels like a head massage.
⚡ Step 3: Your Brain Begins to Slow Down
This is where things start to change.
Many people report:
their thoughts begin to quiet
a deep sense of relaxation
feeling like they’re in a dreamlike or meditative state
Some people fall asleep. Others stay aware the whole time.
There’s no “right” way for it to happen.
🌊 Step 4: Energetic Clearing Happens (Without Effort)
The idea behind an Access Bars session is that these points hold the electromagnetic charge of thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and patterns.
As the Bars are gently touched, those energetic charges begin to release.
What could that mean for you?
👉 Less mental noise
👉 More ease in your body
👉 A sense of space where there used to be stress
You don’t have to process anything or relive past experiences. The session works without you needing to “figure it out.” It also works on what is needed in the moment beyond any expectations that we have of how it should work.
😌 Step 5: Deep Relaxation & Receiving
This is often the most unfamiliar part for people:
You get to receive.
No fixing.
No effort.
No pushing for change.
Many clients say this is one of the few times they truly let their guard down and allow themselves to be supported.
⏱️ Step 6: The Session Wrap-Up
A typical session lasts about 60–90 minutes, but you can get your Bars run in 30 minutes or 6 hours and it will still be effective.
When it’s complete, you’ll slowly come back to full awareness. Some people feel:
lighter
peace and calm
clear-headed
energized
Others feel like they just had the best nap of their life.
💭 What Will You Feel?
Everyone’s experience is different, but common sensations include:
tingling or warmth
waves of relaxation
emotional release (sometimes)
or simply… nothing dramatic at all
And that’s important:
👉 Even if you don’t feel much during the session, changes can still occur afterward.
🌟 After Your Session
In the hours or days following, you might notice:
less overthinking
better sleep
improved mood
more ease in decision-making
Sometimes the shifts are subtle. Sometimes they’re surprisingly big.
❓ Do You Have to Believe in It for Access Bars to work?
No.
Many people try an Access Bars session simply out of curiosity.
It doesn’t require belief—just a willingness to receive.
✨ Is It Time to Try It?
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or mentally overloaded, an Access Bars session offers a different approach—one that doesn’t rely on effort, analysis, or “fixing yourself.”
👉 What if change could be easier than you’ve been taught?
